If you couldn't tell by now, we love Jeeps! And this ‘72 CJ is one of the most unique-looking 4x4s on our list. It has an elegant grille and a contrasting soft-top roof and doors. It needs a little mechanical love, but it's otherwise ready for any challenging terrain.
1978 Subaru DL - $600
This Subaru DL may look very ‘70s, but that only speaks to its practicality. It's still in full working order, with under 90k mileage. The exterior is a bit faded and marked, but for $600, you'll have plenty of cash left over for new paint.

It’s a little bit of a rustbucket, but don’t let that put you off giving this incredible ‘67 Bronco a chance. Everything about it is ‘classic Ford’, from the robust 4x4 design to the incredible working V8 engine. Some good cosmetic work would totally transform this car.
2021 Ram 2500 Laramie - $53,999
At full price, this 2021 Ram is expensive, but bidding starts as low as $100. It’s also a very sizable pickup, so if you need to haul lots of cargo or people. The Trek tyres are also rugged enough to handle any terrain, so this 4x4 was built for adventure.
1998 GMC Sierra - $3,150
This is the second Sierra on our list, and, though it’s an older model, it’s actually more affordable. But that doesn’t mean it drives badly; quite the opposite. It has a 5.7-liter engine, with plenty of raw power to handle any route and great low mileage.

This Toyota 4Runner certainly lives up to its name! Despite having a pretty high mileage, it’s still running well and has the build and wheels needed to dominate off-road terrain. The sunroof and truck bed headliner give this 4x4 a stylish edge, too.
