Whether you’re preparing for the inevitable apocalypse or just want to make sure that no one ever messes with you on the road again, there are plenty of big, gaudy armored vehicles for sale on eBay that will keep you comfortable and combat-ready all at once.
2013 Ford E-Series Van - $7,550
Once used as a money carrier, this exceptionally rare Ford E-Series van is still in great condition, which shouldn’t be too surprising considering it's armored up to the teeth! It’s in perfect driving condition despite having around 220,000 miles on the odometer, though the windows will need to be replaced.
2004 Hummer H1 HMMWV MARINE ARMOR KIT - $46,800
Originally delivered to the Marines for use in combat, this monstrous Hummer was fitted with an armor kit to make it even more beefy and intimidating. After completing its service, it was then modified for civilian use, and now features an AC, radio, road-legal lights, and a fresh coat of paint that is sure to make other drivers think twice before they cut you off!
2001 Hummer H1 - $38,500
Looking as though it came straight off the set of Michael Bay’s Transformers films, this 2001 Hummer H1 is surprisingly luxurious despite its military roots. Featuring leather seats, cruise control, climate control, and even a cassette player (yes, cassette!), this is one former military vehicle that’s adapted well to civilian life.
2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cab Chassis AWD Custom Box Truck / Overland - $70,980
A minivan with the size and stature of a space shuttle, this huge 2023 Mercedes-Benz features a powerful 2.0L 4-Cylinder Diesel High Output Engine. It has been greatly modified (including the addition of custom front and back bumpers) to make it more suitable for the everyday fella like you or me.
2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Custom Build 4x4 Supercharged - $68,000
With enough height to rival the average monster truck thanks to its large wheels, this 2020 armored Jeep Gladiator model has seen some extensive work to make it even more intimidating on the road, with the backing of premium craftsmanship and top-tier materials.
2001 Ford F-350 SRW SUPER DUTY - $30,000
A beloved classic that we can’t believe is almost 24 years old already, this Ford F-350 truck may not be as bulky as some of the other ones on this list. What it lacks in stature, however, it makes up for in style, with a shiny red-and-black paint job that looks just as fresh as the day it was applied.
2023 RAM 1500 TRX AWD 4dr Crew Cab 5.6 - $178,500
Also known as the “Apocalypse Super Truck”, this 2023 Ram would probably be right at home in the world of Mad Max with its huge size and intimidating profile that would make any bandit or raider think twice about messing with you.
1992 Suzuki Samurai JL - $9,500
It feels absurd that we could ever refer to a big Suzuki like this as quaint, but that’s exactly how it looks and feels in comparison to many of the others on this list. Don’t get us wrong, though - it’s still a capable, tough SUV with the right driver behind the wheel.
2025 Jeep Gladiator Sport 4x4 4dr Crew Cab 5.0 - $184,000
Another “Apocalypse” machine, this time with the word “Hellfire” attached to the nameplate for even more toughness, this huge 2025 Jeep Gladiator features a mix of raw power and luxurious features that will have you sitting pretty even as you tackle the worst that the wasteland has to offer.
2021 Jeep Wrangler - $23,999
In comparison to the two “Apocalypse” machines we’ve featured already, this 2021 Jeep Wrangler somehow doesn’t seem as tough as it is. However, it’s been greatly modified with extra body armor and a stronger front bumper to allow it to handle anything.
2024 Jeep Gladiator Texas Trail - $68,900
When stacked up against the other Gladiators we’ve provided already, this 2024 model seems downright conservative in its design. Don’t be fooled, though - with tan-colored kevlar coating, armor plating, and a wealth of custom features built by the seller, it’s definitely not lacking in resilience.
2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Sport Utility 4D - $62,990
With a bright coat of blue paint, we doubt that this 2022 Wrangler was intended for use in combat (or the aforementioned apocalypse). What makes this particular listing so great, however, is the seller’s proficiency for modification - if there’s something you want added or changed, you can do so!
2024 Jeep Gladiator Sport 4X4 - $64,900
By the time we’re finished with this list, we’ll have enough Gladiators to fill the Colosseum. We’ll admit that we’re not fans of the “Sarge Green” paint job, but the rest of the vehicle is just as tough and kitted out as you’d expect.
2025 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk 4X4 - $79,900
Our next combatant is yet another Gladiator, this time from the Big 2025, featuring a dark blue coat of paint that really makes it look like something Batman would use to patrol the streets of Gotham.
2025 Jeep Gladiator Sport S 4X4 - $86,900
We know what you’re thinking: “Surely they can’t have that many gladiators to go around, right?” Think again. This 2025 Sport model features a “Shale Blue” kevlar coating, black leather seats, and plenty of luxury features that will have you sitting pretty while you brave unimaginable horrors.
2021 Chevrolet Suburban Premier - $159,995
Marking a nice departure from the bona fide fleet of Gladiators and Wranglers available, this luxurious Chevrolet Suburban Premier features an EcoTec3 5.3L V8 engine, heated front seats, and only 30,000 miles on the odometer.
2000 BMW 740iL Factory Armored - $19,500
We doubt that this comparatively quaint 2000 BMW 740iL was ever intended to survive serious combat like the Gladiator, but it is much more resilient than your average luxury sedan, and is pretty rare as well, being 1 of only some 400 models produced.
2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter B6 Armored Van Bulletproof Limousine 10 Pass - $349,995
Designed specifically to transport and protect the wealthy and elite, both this Mercedes-Benz and the previous one have one thing in common besides their luxurious interiors: they’re expensive as all hell, even second-hand.
2004 Hummer H2 - $28,900
At $28,900, this 2004 Hummer H2 is one of the more “reasonably-priced” models on our list. Designed for durability and to handle any terrain, it still holds up today despite being over two decades old.
2001 Hummer H1 Open Top 4WD 4dr SUV - $54,000
An even earlier Hummer model than our previous entry, this 2001 H1 is powered by a 6.5L V8 engine, making it a true all-terrain crawler that can handle just about anything you throw at it.
2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited 4x4 - $33,900
Try though we may, there’s simply no escaping the Wrangler. This 2016 model features a “Raptor Black” kevlar coating and has just under 100,000 miles on the odometer.
2008 Ford F-250 Turbo Custom Diesel - $59,000
This 2008 Ford F-250 is less “Sunday driver” and more “iron chariot”. It’s a tough old beast that’s seen plenty of love and care since 2008, making it just as tough and resilient today as it was then.
1978 Jeep CJ-7 - $31,500
Released in 1978, this Jeep CJ-7 is a classic that may be one of the oldest models on this list. Don’t let the date fool you, though - it’s seen some extensive work to keep it modern and fresh, and still makes for a capable armored vehicle.
2025 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk 4X4 - $74,900
Strap yourselves in, folks. We hope you really like Jeep Gladiators because we’ve still got a ton more for you to check out, including this 2025 NightHawk model with a “Fathom Blue” kevlar coating and custom black leather.
2025 Jeep Gladiator Sport S 4X4 - $86,900
Our next challenger isn’t a Challenger at all, but another 2025 Jeep Gladiator. This one features a “Tank Green” kevlar coating and rugged ridge black headlight guards, but is otherwise comparable to the other ones on our list.
2025 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk 4X4 - $73,900
We know we must sound like a broken record at this point, but if you want quality, then the Gladiator is still one of your best bets - it just so happens that there are so many of them to go around!
2025 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 4X4 - $95,900
This Gladiator features a “Sela Green” kevlar coating and a 3.6-liter V6 engine with a hard top that gives it the juice it needs to face off against its opponents out on the battlefield - erm, highways.
2025 Jeep Gladiator NightHawk 4X4 - $79,900
At this point, with the amount of Gladiators on offer, you basically have the choice of which flavor of candy you want. This one is another “Raptor Black”-flavored model, with custom brown leather seats on the inside.
2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn 4x4 SLT Quad Cab - $39,995
If you don’t need something as heavy-duty as the multitude of Wranglers and Gladiators we have listed here, this 2016 Ram makes for a fine substitute. It’s an armored truck with only a few cosmetic blemishes here and there, but it nevertheless still runs well.
2016 Chevrolet Suburban LT - $119,984
Despite having the word “Suburban” in its name, this 2016 Chevrolet truck could probably withstand some light gunfire and has enough space to transport a small platoon.
1995 Hummer H1 GMV GUN TRUCK - $99,000
Still not satisfied with all the Gladiators and Wranglers on offer? Then this 1995 Hummer Gun Truck may be for you, a vehicle that we’re not even sure is road-legal but which nonetheless makes a bold statement due to the presence of the… well, the big gun.
1985 Mercedes-Benz S-Class - $45,000
Perhaps your inclinations are more modest, or you can’t really think of a use for any of the apocalypse-worthy machines we’ve listed already. This 1985 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is more modest in comparison, but still features a bulletproof coating and glass for extra durability.
2025 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 4X4 - $95,900
Folks, by now, we all know what to expect from the 2025 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. It’s big, it’s bold, it’s armored to the teeth, and this particular model features a “Gobi Tan” kevlar coating.
2025 Jeep Gladiator Sport S 4X4 - $87,900
With a “Raptor Black” kevlar coating, black leather upholstery, heated seats, and plenty of luxurious features, this 2025 Gladiator is built for both comfort and combat.
2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon - $93,900
Tired of reading the words “Jeep”, “Wrangler”, and “Rubicon”? You’re in luck - this is our last entry, and - yes - it’s more or less the same as all the other ones on this list, but with “Ferrari Nart Blue” kevlar coating.
