Fast and Furious Vehicles Ranked
Even if you haven’t watched the Fast and Furious movies, you’ve definitely heard of them and the incredible cars they feature. Keep reading to discover the top 35 cars from the franchise.
Han’s RX-7 Tokyo Drift
Orange VeilSide perfection. Tokyo legend. This car was first seen in ‘The Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift’ and is best known as Han’s ride. It was a grand display of craftsmanship, with one of the most eye-catching wide-body kits around, and it practically oozed with aura everywhere it went.
Brian’s Silver R34 GT-R
Skyline fever in full effect. Legendary and short-lived, sadly reminiscent of Paul Walker’s career. And in the same way that you couldn’t have an FF movie without that beloved actor, you couldn’t have a street racing movie if the Skyline GT-R R34 wasn’t included. The styling of the GT-R is unique, and its stunning paint job makes it stand out from other cars.
Rico Santos’s Supra
Dom’s silent twin drove a legend. Supra = instant car credit. The well-known ‘94 Toyota Supra was a massively popular vehicle in the first ‘Fast and The Furious’ movie. In fact, this is the car that Paul Walker gave to Vin Diesel in the movie as compensation for the car he previously destroyed.
Green Eclipse (Fast 1)
Brian’s entry car defined the neon-glow era. The Eclipse is just about more iconic than most other vehicles in the movie. It’s been repeatedly mimicked, though few cars have come close to matching its unprecedented levels of groovy, baby.
Mazda RX-7
The design of this RX-7 is by far one of the most beautiful things ever committed to film (if your definition of film doesn’t extend beyond the FF franchise, that is). Of course, this version of the RX-7 isn’t questioned when looking at sheer beauty. There are very few sports cars from this era, so the RX-7 stands out.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX
The Lancer Evolution is the car in which Lucas Black used to learn how to drift, and it was an important vehicle in the movie’s story. Interestingly, the car was sold at auction later on, and it can be seen on car show circuits.
Nissan Silvia S15 Spec-S
Although the Skyline is the car that gets all the attention of the driving community, the Silvia S15 Spec-S is an awesome car in its own right. That said, you need a certain level of “refined taste” to appreciate it. The Silvia has a stunning body and a lot of potential for upgrading.
Suki’s S2000 (Fast 2)
Hot pink and iconic. Feminine, fierce, and fast. We all remember the pink S2000 from ‘2 Fast 2 Furious’, right? As much of a standout as the woman who drove it, the S2000 itself is actually one of the most underrated and underappreciated sports cars to emerge over the last 20 years. The Honda roadster is the ideal vehicle for fun and speed, and the S2000 delivers in almost every way possible.
Black Honda Civic
The Civic is one of the most well-loved compact cars ever made, even today. The EJ1 was incredibly popular in the early- to mid-2000s as a budget-friendly means of transportation, and it was also a trendy tuner car.
Dom’s Dad’s Charger
Although ‘The Fast and The Furious’ movies mainly featured imported cars, there were a few American muscle cars that caught our eye. The 1970 Dodge Charger R/T is sleek, dark, and stunning and has a trademark blower poking out of its hood.
Skydiving Subaru WRX
The WRX STi is the car you want when you hit the track. It’s the kind of ride that will have you kicking your feet with giddiness when you get behind the wheel. It’s also highly moddable, allowing you to personalize it to your tastes.
Porsche 996 GT3 RS
Even without modifications, a Porsche - stock or otherwise - is a thrilling car to drive, and that holds true for most models. The 996 GT3 RS is a powerful beast offering a turbocharged engine and a gorgeous paint job.
1981 Monte Carlo (Tokyo Drift)
You could see this car in the starting scenes of ‘Tokyo Drift’ and most people would agree that this car is nothing short of iconic. The Monte Carlo was a huge success - financially and popularity-wise - for General Motors and it’s one of the longest-running nameplates ever.
Flip Car
Another car that was made just for the movie franchise was the Flip Car. The design’s metal tubing makes it look like it drove out of a Monster Garage episode. It’s more than just a prop, however - the Flip Car is very real and very driveable, assuming you can ever come close enough to get behind its wheel.
Lykan HyperSport
This car was created with the help of Italian engineers, giving it that distinct Ferrari look. This car was never mass-produced, making it an exceptionally rare collectible, and only a few examples remain on the road today.
Red Ford Lightning
The F-150 SVT Lightning is probably the most recognizable pickup truck from the 1990s. It was driven in the first ‘Fast and The Furious’ movie, before Brian upgrades to more impressive models. The F-150 Lightning was sadly discontinued just after the movie hit movie screens, which only made resale values shoot through the roof.
Jensen Interceptor
There are several notable sports cars that have emerged from Britain, but the Jensen Interceptor stands out as the most notable. This car was one of the first sports cars from Britain to be used in ‘The Fast and The Furious’ movie franchise.
Ford Escort (Furious 7)
The Ford Escort is a fairly modest vehicle, especially when compared to some of the other machines driven by Dominic Torretto and his family. But its humility belies a secret power that has made the Escort a much renowned name around the world that has had a fair amount of luck in the rally scene.
Koenigsegg CCX (Fast 5)
Not many cars can claim to be one of the fastest in the world, but then again, not every car is Koenigsegg CCX. It’s a beautiful car, though it’s perhaps a little overengineered. To make things worse, Jay Leno owns one.
Corvette Convertible
The original Corvette models are more than just eye candy - in fact, the 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport StingRay is a beautiful example of great American engineering. The 1966 Corvette Grand Sport StingRay has also become a popular model that many want in their garage.
Porsche Cayman
Classic Porsche connoisseurs feel that the Cayman strays too far from the traditional Porsche aesthetic, but then again, those connoisseurs probably don’t care much for FF anyway. This car was featured in the latest ‘Fast and The Furious’ movies, and it’s on the list of the fastest production models around.
Dodge Challenger R/T
There’s no ‘Fast and The Furious’ movies without real Mopar muscle cars, and most would agree that the 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T is absolutely that car. The 1970 Challenger R/T is an example of what the movie franchise did right, i.e., showing off a bunch of cool cars with the thinnest semblance of a plot to connect them.
Roman’s Camaro SYC
Naturally, if we’re going to mention Mopar muscle cars, we must showcase some Chevrolet cars from the franchise. The 1969 Yenko Camaro SYC is yet another fantastic muscle car that was used in the movie franchise.
67’ Mustang RB26 Swap
The Mustang Swap was one of the most exciting aspects of ‘The Fast and The Furious’ movies because it has a JDM engine swap (in the films). This 1967 Mustang is the vehicle that Lucas inherited from his father.
Ford Torino
The Gran Torino Sport is one of the most underrated muscle cars from this era, but Ford did a great job with the car. The 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport was a perfect example of hardcore engineering done to the T.
Stolen GT40
There’s no way to have movies about fast cars packed with action without including the Ford GT40. Yes, this is the stylish supercar from Detroit. There are several versions of the Ford GT40 that have been released since then, but this model is definitely one of the most notable.
Tej’s Ferrari FXX
If this Ferrari looks familiar to you, it’s because it was built using the famous Ferrari Enzo for inspiration. You’re probably wondering how a rare car like the Enzo was featured in a movie as prestigious as ‘The Fast and The Furious’. In fact, the Ferrari FXX was only a replica car designed specifically for the movie, but it got the job done.
Dodge Charger Daytona
The Mopar-powered muscle and sports cars from this time are definitely some of the world’s most iconic, loved vehicles. The Daytona is only one example of this type of car, but it’s a pretty good one that oozes menace and power.
F-Bomb Camaro
The second-generation Camaro was released at a strange time for the automotive brand. The 1973 Chevrolet Camaro RS-Z28 F-Bomb is a unique-looking muscle car featured in the movie series. The F-Bomb’s paint job definitely stands out, but this car does more than just look good; it also performs well.
Dom’s Barracuda
Mopar was growing from strength to strength in the era of muscle cars, and the Plymouth Barracuda is another top example of a muscle car. Just hearing the tailpipes and seeing the unique styling of the Barracuda make it a unique offering.
Rambo Lambo
Over the past few decades, Lamborghini has established a reputation for itself with unique cars. The Murciélago LP640 is one of the most highlighted sports cars made in the last two decades. The styling built on everything the brand had done right before and took it to the next level, and also had a starring role in The Dark Knight.
2017 McLaren 720S
When looking at supercars, there’s not a doubt that McLaren is one of the most popular and well-known brands. But the McLaren 720S definitely wins at being the cream of the crop of Fast and Furious cars.
Noble M600
Over the years and a gajillion films in the franchise, FF has slowly introduced more high-end vehicles than the street cars they used to espouse. The Noble M600 is a beautiful, hand-built British sports car offering some of the top performances in the world.
Dodge Charger Hellcat
The Charger has recently become the sports sedan that most car enthusiasts want to own. The 2020 Hellcat was a performance king for the SRT group upon release, and the vehicle has remained very popular, perhaps due to its starring role in the film franchise.
Acura NSX
This car is a modern rendition of the storied classic that helped establish the brand's reputation in the early 1990s. No one can deny that there’s no ‘Fast and The Furious’ movies without featuring the NSX.
